Under general direction, creates and maintains various databases; prepares routine and ad-hoc financial reports/analyses; monitors financial activity; prepares budgets; assists with maintenance and development of reporting systems; works on other projects as required to support the operations of the businesses, including treasury operations.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Controlling daily exposure or positioning of the firm’s cash; Dealing with Foreign exchange and other money market tools
Preparing for future cash positions for the client firm; Participating in the development of new procedures aimed at supporting the cash position of the client firm; Running the administration of the bank accounts of the client firm and handling the clients loans and deposits; Maintaining the treasury procedures; Analyzing banking fees and adopting some control measures that would minimize the amount of cash lost by the firm to the banking charges; Handling ad-hoc cash requests; Responsible for financial modeling in the firm; Forecasting the firm’s financial performance; Assessing current and potential risks and advising the management on the necessary precautionary measures; Formulating the firm’s budget; Handling valuations, asset management and accounting practices; Supports all aspects of Treasury Operations activities, including assisting with the development of cash management banking solutions for all business segments of the organization and supporting the cash forecasting process; Ensures the continued, accurate operation of the company’s treasury systems and supporting schedules; Establishes required bank accounts and performs the daily administration of bank accounts, investments, and/or debt obligations to include required funding and disbursement and compilation of cash position; Monitors rates and analyzes the impact of changes on the deposit accounts
Skills Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or similar degree;MBA desirable, but not required; 2 years experience; Knowledge of institutional business policies, practices, and terminology; Knowledge of budget processes; Report design and preparation skills; Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; Strong analytical skills; Highly skilled in MS Excel
Ability to work within all levels of the organization; Ability to work with little supervision; self starter.
