Job Description:

 

   Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)Outreach Educator conducts door-to door canvassing of homes in targeted areas to recruit qualified applicants for Virgin Islands Partners for Healthy Communities program.  The FOE will provide outreach presentations at designated community events, neighborhood centers, businesses and organizations.  FOE enrolls clients, educates about helth risk reduction disseminates incentives, tracks clients to follow up on referrals, schedules health appointments and various other activities.  FOE will provide Spanish-English translation services (verbal and written) to VIPHC families and Department of Health staff members  FOE must participate in all preservice and in-service training activities.  Please submit your resume & cover letter.


Skills Required

 

Valid driver's license, H.S. diploma (college or technical degree preferred), computer competency, strict confidentiality, strong people skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Applicant must be Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
