Job Description:

Position Summary: The Software Engineer is responsible for applying standard coding practices, principles and design patterns to development software applications across various product lines. This position is also responsible for maintaining and updating current software applications as required. The Software Engineer will be part of a cross-functional agile team, and will be involved in requirement reviews, design discussions and project status meetings. Essential Functions: • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Act as the technical team lead for small to medium projects • Assure that requirements are complete • Participate in design discussions • Implement designs while following company coding standards using C#, VB.NET or other languages • Participate in code reviews • Participate in daily scrum meetings • Assist with testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live • Work within different development environments on multiple tasks • Work across multiple release versions • Maintain software applications as necessary

Experience and Education: • BS/Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Understand web application architecture • Understand standard software design patterns and object oriented design • 3+ Year’s experience with ASP.Net, C# and/or VB.NET • 3+ Year’s experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • 1+ Year’s experience with relational databases and SQL • Experience with Distributed Version Control Systems e.g. Git and Mecruial a plus • Experience with MVC, Bootstrap, HTML5, and JQuery a plus • Familiarity with SOLID design principles a plus Physical Requirements/Work Environment: Daily exposure to PC\'s and Networks, The ability to lift 30 - 50lbs w/assistance, move heavy equipment and boxes Sit for long hours in front of Computer Monitors Will require long hours and some weekends when business needs dictate. Moderate noise level daily in office atmosphere
