Job Description:

My Brother's Workshop is seeking professional individuals for the position of Trainer.  The ideal candidate will possess experienced woodworking skills and/or general construction skills and will work directly with the Trainees on woodworking and construction projects.  This role requires an understanding and appreciation for meeting deadlines and knows how to motivate the team with safety being a top priority.  They will be responsible for delegating the day to day activity to the Trainees that is required to ensure projects are successfully completed in a timely fashion while training and guiding our trainees and supporting their personal development and mentoring them along the way.  Because of these specific responsibilities, the applicant needs to demonstrate patience and compassion for our youth and will be expected to gain a deep understanding of the MBW method of training while being accountable to the Program Director.  Previous experience working with at-risk youth a plus.  This is a part time position that would possibly turn into a full time position.  Pay commensurate with experience.
