Job Description:

Provide engineering design, configuration, and provisioning of hardware and software for all current and future Class4/5 switches for the Innovative network including transport, DC power and ancillary equipment.
Provide expert support to NOC an operations groups to resolve open CO (soft switch)/VOIP related tickets and issues.
Utilize company specific systems/applications to ensure the accurate processing and completion of services delivered by team.
Clearly communicate ideas and information, both orally and in writing, in a way that brings understanding to customers and team members; actively listens to ensure understanding.
Interact with customers/business partners to identify, analyze and generate solutions to resolve issues or problems they may be experiencing related to department's business processes and/or services.
Identify and consider the impact of issues, problems, and solutions on the business and customers in order to make the most effective decision.
Gather and analyze relevant information/data from multiple sources to define the dimension of an opportunity or issue.

Skills Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
Knowledge and experience in digital switching systems including DMS and soft switch
Knowledge and experience in equipment engineering,transmission engineering, traffic and radio engineering
Knowledge of VOIP protocols (SIP, RTP, H323) and experience with Softswitches. Session Border Controllers.
Knowledge and experience in HFC and FTTH technologies.
