Undergraduate degree in health related fiels, Masters degree preferred. Two or more years direct care experience with children and/or adolescents preferably in a group home or residential setting, and three or more years supervisory experience. Must possess demonstrated leadership ability, the abilioty to communicate effectively with diverse groups ond individuals, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to understand and manage budgets. Must possess knowledge of therapeutic relationships amd processes adolescent growth and development, linit setting and behavior management, crisis management of aggressive behaviors, CPR, First Aid Certification.

A short term residential evaluation unit designed to respond to youths between the ages of five and seventeen years who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioral difficulties.

Currently running several programs that provide respite care for children in foster care who are in crisis. VIBS is designed to provide professional residential treatment and counseling services in a family atmosphere. The therapeutic environment fosters positive self-esteem, respect for others and acceptance of responsibility for one's behavior.

VIBS also provides a secure treatment environment for severely traumatized and extremely impulsive adolescent females. VIBS provides a healing environment that can foster recovery from trauma and develop new behavioral, emotional and life skill strategies to alter their dysfunctional life styles.
