He/she is responsible in preparing the daily production of the department, as per demand and the rotation of the product, in complying with the quality standards of the product, quality of the packing/label and the safety norms and hygiene. ·Prepare the ingredients for production and select the merchandise to be utilized for the preparation of the product.·Bake, pack and label the products according to the demand following the proper standards.·Take all cake orders, carefully and thoroughly and be professional and knowledgeable about your product.·Ensure availability at all times, assure products are well displayed, alternate existing products and remove expired products. Re-pack the products, as needed.·Monitor inventory of regular out-of-stock supplies and products and check if ingredients and products are properly stored.·Assures that all the equipment is properly maintained (i.e. oven, proffer, and shrink machine).
Skills Required
Requirements: In order to be considered, you must have ·1 year experience in a cake decorating environment·Medium to advance cake decorating skills (must be able to ice a cake and garnish with assorted borders and should know how to make piped roses).·The ability to manage multiple tasks, work under extreme pressure and have excellent member service skills.·Have knowledge of AS400 system·Computer knowledge – basic Microsoft ·At least working one year with the company·Please bring a portfolio with any work you have done.
