Job Description:
Position Summary: The E-Marketing Manager is responsible for implementing methods to improve websites’ organic search rankings (SEO). This includes keyword research, analyzing website content, documenting changes made, and keeping stakeholders informed of actions taken. In addition, the E-Marketing Manager will develop and optimize pay-per-click campaigns. This includes managing keyword research and bids, formulating and managing the PPC budgets, analyzing results, and reporting results. This person must be organized, understand business drivers, and possess effective communication skills to develop and maintain close relationships with the top-tier search engines and other advertising channels. This position has no direct reports or supervisory responsibility. Essential Functions: · Review and analyze web sites, through detailed written documentation, identifying areas for improvement and change relative to SEO. · Develop SEO content to include strategic keyword placement within compelling copy that maximizes opportunities for indexing, ranking, click-through, and conversion. · Create original content while including necessary keywords, titles and descriptions to improve the performance of a site. · Responsible for implementing different strategies such as changing keywords, H1 tags, copy on web site and implementing editorial improvements to meet online objectives and desired targeted organic search positions. · Monitor, on an on-going basis, SEO results and manage projects to ensure continued high rankings. · Work with analytics team to maximize optimization of keyword for PPC and SEO campaigns · Manage advertising spend budget for PPC and display media · Manage optimization of websites (not just landing pages) · Provide ongoing support of all SEO initiatives including reporting, analysis and optimization recommendations. · Reports SEO performance including ranking and volume trends · Reports on PPC and display advertising · Performs A/B testing to determine most effective landing pages and website layouts · Proactively make strategic PPC campaign recommendations. · Competitive intelligence; analyze highly indexed sites to determine new SEO strategies. · Utilize bid management tools and data modeling to maximize the effectiveness of PPC Campaigns. · Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and optimize click-through and conversion rates. · Optimize landing pages for search engine quality score. · Serve as liaison with paid search engine contacts. |
