Job Description:


Position Objective: Plan, coordinate and supervise the processes related to the area of operation of the cement terminal and provides support to administrative and accounting services with the application of administrative systems, in order to assure the effective operation of the equipment and employees of the terminal.



·        Execute activities of recording and processing of sales tickets, invoices, bills, receipts, payments and working hours by operative personnel as required and instructed in order to assure proper and timely data entry and record keeping and maintaining financial, administrative and human resources files and records.

·        Interacts with customers through the reception and placement of phone calls, emails and other form of communication to maintain customer relationships according to the Company’s standards.

·        Provides support on the collection of customer´s accounts in order to maintain the collection limits established by the Company

·        Monitors the proper implementation and follow up of all administrative processes and procedures based on the guidelines established by the Organization.

·        Assists in the writing and posting of business letters/memos, Company´s communication (internal or external) and preparation of reports to support the decision making and information availability and serve as an internal and external channel of the communication for the Company.

·        Coordinate and supervise the reception, storage, packaging, and dispatch of cement (bulk and bagged) and its packing materials to assure the availability, quality and reliability of finished product.

·        Inspect and evaluate continuously the terminal´s operation and its components to guarantee the accomplishment of productivity standards established for the terminal and maintain the performance of the equipment and machinery.

·        Plan with the General Director and monitor the production schedule, taking into account all resources at hand, both internal and external, for the normal operations of the business, as well as production peaks, in order guarantee the productivity of the terminal and comply with the delivery times along with product availability.

·        Monitor the implementation of terminal´s preventive and corrective maintenance programs at all scales, guaranteeing the proper execution of the plans established by overseeing the work of employees and contractors as well as the correct development of the projects.

·        Plan with the General Director and control the inventory of parts and replacement equipment in order to avoid machine breakdowns and business interruption, following the procurement manual of the Company.

·        Monitor and execute the terminal’s annual budget in order to assure achievement of the established goals in terms of costs and expenses, hence maximizing the profits of the Organization.

·        Maintain the availability and reliability of information, both manual and uploaded into the system, contributing to the decision making and guarantee business continuity.

·        Plan and oversee the training program for the supervised employees to minimize knowledge gaps based on the individual development plans. 

Skills Required

Level of Degree acquired

Bachelor’s Degree

Technical Knowledge  and Certifications

Engineering (mechanical, industrial or electrical) Business Administration.

Administrative course.
