Responsibilities include:

· Management of Security Activities to include scheduling,  review of tours and security inspections, conduct regular security and safety reviews of the facility, and development of protocols.

· Build and implement security manual, audit work instructions regularly to evaluate applicability, personnel management & development.

· Incident Management: Ensure all security incidents have been properly documented, responsible for conducting or facilitating all investigations related to facility security guaranteeing that appropriate root causes have been identified.

· Security Officer Duties: facility access control, headcount tracking, regular inspections of vehicles and employees .

· Security Patrol: perimeter patrols, facility patrols, and building security.

·  Incident Mitigation: emergency response, coordinate employees in emergency response situations and notify internal first responders as needed, provide immediate response to potential threats to the facility, including the confronting of unauthorized individuals, by initiating containment actions and calling for aid from internal or external resources as necessary.

· Communication: maintain communication with internal department leaders as needed, communicate/ coordinate with local law enforcement and other external agencies as required, complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures

· Interact positively with visitors to the Cruzan Rum Distillery including visitors to the tour program, corporate visitors, and VIPs.

· Adheres to and promotes environmental health and safety as one of the organization’s business priorities

· All other duties and projects as assigned
