Assistant General Manager

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be able to do multi-function tasking coordinating with General Manager
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must possess positive leadership skills
  • Able to manage, direct and complete assigned duties as directed by General manager
  • Able to process and resolve guest services requirements
  • Must be able to assist, train and direct staff where necessary
  • Must dress professionally
  • Able to stand or sit for 10 hour shift
  • Able to lift 35 pounds

Responsibilities / Duties

  1. Strong organizational skills 
  2. Monitor and manage according to policy, Human Resourse files
  3. Manage and accurately submit ADP Payroll and reports for all staff. 
  4. Able to multi task effectively 
  5. Work well under stress
  6. Assist/Fill in for General Manager at weekly owners meetings
  7. Must be able to speak in front a small group of owners/guest with comfort and confidence.
  8. Able to manage front desk staff, schedules, check-in and out procedures and assure hospitality is conveyed professionally.
  9. Code and process payables for review by management when necessary, assisting bookkeeper.
  10. Research accounting related questions /descrepancies and process information on a timely basis.
  11. Coordinate and respond to all correspondence related to owners unit usage.
  12. Able to contact and negotiate vendor agreements as directed by the General Manager.
  13. Able to assist the General Manager with all operational projects and Board of Directors meetings
  14. Able to coordinate and assist General Manager with the implementation of all policies and procedures for staff.
  15. Monitor all employee-related functions/activities in the workplace.
  16. Coordinate all board related functions with General Manager
  17. Provides General Manager with requested accounting information
  18. Co-ordinate and process owner information and requests professionally and promptly
  19. Coordinates the rental and owner reservations system, which includes communications with Security, Maintenance,and various vendors.
  20. Receives and responds to phone calls, mail, future reservation, cancelletations and confirmations. Delegates to proper manager and follows up to confirm task is complete.
  21. Functions at the resort exchange company  Is famaliar with all rles governing the system and the various programs available to others.
  22. Responsible for documenting, verifying and processing money due owners through the owner rental program which includes Housekeeping fee adjustments and front desk daily central accounting with information and related forms.  Delegates to proper manager and follows up to confirm task is complete.
  23. Provides central accounting and rental accounting with information and related forms
  24. Process and verify resort activities relating to rental escrow accounts and porcess write off adjustments for approval. Delegates to proper manager and follows up to confirm task is complete. 
  25. Works with central technical support to coordinate and process requested accounting information to central office.
  26. Must perform multi-purpose tasking within the guidelines set forth by SPM Resorts.
  27. Assist General Manager with monthly reports and deadlines related to  GM responsibilities.
  28. Performs all other related duties and projects as assigned by the General Manager
  29. Must be computer literate and proficient in word, excel, power point and other office software programs.
