Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Visiting families in their homes to support, assist and educate them regarding how to provide a safe, healthy and developmentally appropriate environment for their child. Provide advocacy services to families. Assess needs using the provided observations tools/checklists. Plan and facilitate Socialization Events for children and families.
Skills Required
Education and Experience:
Minimum of a CDA (Child Development Associate) or an Associate's in Early Childhood Development or Early Childhood Education a must.
Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families required.
Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Card, First Aid and CPR certification.
Must possess a valid Driver's License.
Must have reliable transportation.
AmeriCorps, Peace Corps, and national service alumni encouraged to apply.
