Key duties and responsibilities of the Customer Care Specialist include the following:§Handles customer questions, complaints and billing inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to resolve customer issues.§Offers alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of retaining customer’s business.§Handles business transactions in connection with activation of new customer accounts on a computer terminal.§Communicates with customers using web-based tools and demonstrates the associated proficiency in typing and grammar.§Responsible for improving customer retention through programs and service provided to the customer.§Makes financial decisions to protect/collect revenues and adjust customer accounts. §May assist in training new employees.§Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Skills Required
The Successful candidate must have at minimum the following education, skills and/or experience:§High School Diploma or equivalent§6 months computer experience in Windows§One year Customer Service work experience§Excellent oral and written communication skills§Availability to work a flexible schedule which includes all hours of call center operation§Bilingual applicants (Spanish and creole) encouraged to apply
