This is a new position for the right person to help launch the St Johns Fragrance Company into its next generation. Our home at the Havensight docks is nearly complete and requires a self-starter to build retail momentum, manage island sales to specialty accounts as well as create events to drive brand energy.
You’ll assist in developing the marketing programs, implement customer sales initiatives and put on the special events to grow St Johns around the Caribbean. By building relationships with shop owners, event managers and the thousands of USVI visitors every year, you will be establishing St Johns as an authentic lifestyle brand with its roots in St. Thomas.
This role requires a pitch-in attitude and the able to independently take ownership of daily tasks as well as oversee our company store on St. Thomas. You will build relationships with customers to build sales and accounts and stage consumer events to engage our fans. Responsibilities include, overseeing the retail store day-to-day, customer service calls, sales to new and current accounts, and sales reporting.
This is a year round, full-time position based on St. Thomas with seasonal and flexible hours as required. There is some weekend work and quarterly business travel in the US & British Virgin Islands. We offer a competitive salary, bonus opportunities and paid vacation time. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and have a valid passport for travel.

A self-starter with great people skills and a penchant for growing an authentic brand. Ideal candidates should have either a marketing, sales, or a hospitality background and should be comfortable with customers.
Candidates must have experience growing a business as part of a team. You’re likely to use social media tools such as Facebook, Trip Advisor, and Instagram every day, but also enjoy engaging our fans at events The St. Thomas Annual Regatta during each year. Our company uses cloud based software for almost everything, so you’re likely to be handy with a laptop and modern technology. Using tools like Power Point, Excel, Word, Google are natural to you and you should have some familiarity with Shopify and QuickBooks.
You’re most likely to think of yourself as a person who gets things done and is resourceful. As a teammate, you enjoy being responsible and take pride in working with others to help everyone be successful. You’re organized, easy to work with and consider having fun a must for the right work life balance.
Candidates should have at least of 3-5 years of experience working with business teams and consumers. A bachelor degree is required. Candidates must be able to work flexible hours and travel in the U.S. & British Virgin Islands. Must have proper work authorization. Business level English is required; some Spanish is a plus. Position is located in St. Thomas.
