AmeriCorps and Volunteer Coordinator – LSSVI, St. Croix (1 Position)

Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, the AmeriCorps and Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the programmatic functioning of the AmeriCorps program and to ensure that Lutheran Social Services is in a position to continue receiving the AmeriCorps grant administered by the Corporation for National & Community Service.  The Coordinator organizes, coordinates and manages the recruitment of volunteers for all programs of Lutheran Social Services as well as establishes agency – wide policies and procedures to recruit and recognize the work of volunteers.

 


Skills Required

Basic Qualifications:

§  A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Communications or related field

§  Three years or more of successful work experience in a coordinator role or a related field.

§  A valid USVI driver’s license.
