As a Cargo Agent you will be required to:

Check import/export documentation to determine cargo content and classify goods

Contact vendors and/or claims adjustment department in order to resolve problems with shipments, or contact service depots to arrange for repairs

Determine method of shipment and prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents

Enter information into a computer by hand in a timely manner

To comply with Customs regulations

To answer the phone in a polite and professional manner

To carry out any other tasks deemed necessary and reasonable by the company

To be able to work flexible hours when necessary

Maintain cleanliness of work area

Maintain relevant files and records
