This position is for one (1) Youth Program Coordinator for our St. Croix office.*Successful candidate will be responsible to report directly to the Operations Manager. Tasks for this position are, yet, not limited to:
TASKS:
Interview program participants, assessing their situations, capabilities, and problems, to determine what services are required to meet their needs.
Interview participants to compile information on social and educational history.
Develop and review service plans in consultation with participants and perform follow-ups assessing the quantity and quality of services provided.
Monitor students' progress, and provide students and teachers with assistance in resolving any problems.
Provide information and refer participants to public or private agencies or community services for assistance.
Oversee day-to-day group activities of participants assigned to programs.
Keep records and prepare reports for management concerning visits with participants.
Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with youth participants, schools staff inputs, or consultation with managers, instructors or service providers.
Plan, organize, direct, and monitor instructional methods and content of educational, vocational, or student activity programs for evaluation of progress.
Conduct group meetings to provide information on agency services, requirements and procedures.
Confer with staff to discuss educational activities and policies, and students' behavioral or learning problems.
Select and assign instructors/agencies to conduct training with participants.
Determine the scope of educational program offerings, and prepare drafts of program schedules and descriptions, to estimate staffing and facility requirements.
Submit reports and review reports or problems with superior.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate MUST have reliable transportation and valid drivers’ license.
Position requires candidate to monitor programs at different locations.
Willing to work closely with youth to assist in the monitoring of the participants' training progress.
