Job Description:

 As we continue to grow, so do our staffing needs.  Bristol Interactive is seeking an Controller.  This position is r esponsible for directing the organizations accounting functions by performing the following duties.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

-         Responsible for overall maintenance of corporate fiscal records.

-         Coordinates, administers, and controls financial operations.

-         Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operation’s effective achievement of objectives.

-         Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs and people.

-         Establishes accounting policies and procedures to ensure that all financial transactions are executed and documented in accordance with US generally accepted accounting principles.

-         Reviews, analyzes and interprets company’s financial positions with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budget. 

-         Presents finding and recommendations to senior management, and participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives.

-         Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operations of the function.

-         Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area through several department managers within the company.

-         Other duties that are within education and experience or the incumbent may be assigned for the betterment of the company.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

-         Demonstrated problem solving skills

-         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-         Proven ability to influence, drive change, and achieve results

-         Successful management of multiple projects

-         Strong analytical skills

-      Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products

-      Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (GreatPlains) a plus

-         Excellent time management

-         A sense of urgency and responsibility for following through

-         High degree of confidentiality

-         Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

BS or BA degree in Accounting/Finance from an accredited four-year college or university; and/or minimum 6+ years experience in Accounting including a minimum of 3+ years in management role. CPA a plus.
