Job Description:

If you've always dreamt about moving to a Paradise, now it's time to do it! A fabulous opportunity has arisen for a warehouse associate with experience in retail to join our rapidly expanding gift stores.

Calypso Gifts operates two retail stores in the US Virgin Islands, which specialize in souvenirs, apparel, and various locally made products.

As part of this job, you will be responsible for the following:

Warehouse:

Capable of lifting 20-40lbs
Able to bend and stretch
Personal transportation is required in order to make deliveries from warehouse to the stores

Merchandising:

Understanding the importance of merchandising goods and product presentation
Develop a thorough understanding of the entire store merchandise, prices and names of the products

Team Work:

Actively work with other employees to achieve goals of the warehouse/store
Provide feedback to the manager and merchants regarding products

This job requires 30 hours per week minimum.

Skills Required

Computer Skills-Proficient in MS Excel, and knowledgeable of the internet at a basic level. Willing and able to learn computer software.

Interpersonal Skills-Enjoys working with people and meeting new people on a daily basis

Customer Service-Enjoys assisting and interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Basic Math Skills
