Job Description:
Works in the group home, occasionally outside of home when escorting a resident. some risk involved in the event of aggressive/out of control residents. Must possess physical ability to assist restraining residents under such circumstances. Schedule will include weekend and holidays.
Skills Required
Undergraduate or associate degree in health related field, education, recreation, psychology or social services.
One year direct care experience working with children or adolescents preferred for undergraduate degree; two or more years direct care experience required for an associate degree bearer;and four or more years direct care experience required for high school diploma bearer.Psychiatric or residential care experience preferred. One year supervisory experience required.
