Plans and directs financial planning, forecasting and budgeting and analysis and reporting activities within the Finance department by performing the following duties, personally or through supervising subordinates.Responsible for all phases of financial planning, forecasting, analysis, budgetary and financial management; Leads and participates in preparation of annual budget and updates, capital project planning, forecasting, and operational analysis as needed for all aspects of the business; Develops and enhances administrative controls to ensure the most effective and economical expenditure of allocated funds; Assesses budgetary requirements, budget formulation and preparation for justification, presentation and execution; Tracks and reconciles projects on a quarterly and end of year end basis; Establishes and maintains automated financial management system for budgeting, tracking account management, and financial reporting; Supervises financial planning and analysis staff; provide indirect supervision to other employees when necessary; Other activities as may be determined based on requirements of the business; Develops and enhances current reporting systems; Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field; Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; Degree of creativity and latitude is required; Ability to multi-task; Ability to provide vision and inspiration to peers and subordinates; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Develops team building strategies
Skills Required
BBA in Finance or Accounting or Business Administration or related field required; MBA desirable; 10 plus years experience at a professional level involving development of budget estimates and justifications to support budgetary recommendations, projecting budgetary issues, and preparing and submitting strategic budgetary plans; forecasting; analysis or similar activities; At least four (4) years supervisory experience; Excellent verbal and written communication; Strong experience with MS Office, Accounting Software & payroll systems.
