KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES · Thorough knowledge of federal programs’ specific and general compliance requirements and allowable costs; · Knowledge of Government financial/cost accounting; · Knowledge of grants development, proposals, applications, and administration; · Ability to communicate verbally and in writing; · Ability to develop and maintain productive interpersonal/human relations; · Ability to demonstrate advanced conflict management skills, including negotiation and problem/issue determination and resolution; · Ability to conduct research; · Ability to maintain accurate records and attend to details; · Ability to work collaboratively; · Ability to operate personal computer with knowledge of various software programs and database management; · Ability to work independently, meeting critical deadlines; · Ability to maintain confidentiality. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE · Master’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Communications or closely related field and two years of federal grants management or related experience; or · Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or closely related field and four years of federal grants management or related experience; and · Working knowledge of Government financial accounting system and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133 and Circular A-87. |
