Job Description:

Viewed as one of the most premier jewelry and watch retailers in the Caribbean, Little Switzerland has a long standing history of providing the widest selection of brand name jewelry and watches to their customers.

 

Little Switzerland is currently searching for an ambitious individual to manage and execute our Marketing and Visual Merchandising administrative responsibilities.  This is an ideal position for somebody with a passion for retail or luxury goods who has an eye for Marketing while also the technical and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and administrative duties.  This is an exciting introduction into the world of luxury brand jewelry and watch sales in the Caribbean.

 

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Receive weekly invoices from Regional/Corporate Marketing and Visual Merchandising, assemble weekly invoice spreadsheet with backups and submit for approval

  • Follow up on missing/outstanding payments from vendors

  • Prepare monthly co-op invoices and compile monthly co-op submissions (packing/shipping) for brands

  • Ensure receipt and payment of co-op invoices by brand partners, and reconcile payments with Accounting Department

  • In conjunction with Vice President of Marketing, manage and reconcile monthly and annual Marketing/Visual Merchandise budget expenses

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly cruise ship sales reports for selected cruise lines and brands

  • Assist Visual Merchandising with the sourcing and ordering of displays, signage and brand catalogs

  • Work with Regional Marketing team, Visual Merchandising and Operations to manage inventory of store collateral, displays

  • Track receipt and distribution of displays, signage, marketing materials

  • Keep intranet files organized and up to date.

  • Order and send Brand catalogs/collateral.

  • Help compile/complete the annual Advertising Guide for both Brand and Corporate visuals.

  • Help with inventory at stores and at the warehouse

  • Other administrative and marketing tasks as needed


Skills Required

Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years Office Administrative and Customer Service experience, with knowledge of accounting and invoicing processes preferred

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Ability to learn quickly and utilize a number of different on-line platforms

  • Critical thinking skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization

  • Some college in a field related to Accounting, Marketing or Retail preferred
