Job Title: Care Coordinator (Government Contractor) Work Schedule: Full-Time Location: Kingshill, St. Croix (US Virgin Islands Army National Guard) Start Date: Immediate Opening/Hire Who May Apply: All U.S. Citizens
Key Requirement: Must possess a security clearance; OR be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
The incumbent of this position will provide support to the Deputy State Surgeon, US Virgin Islands Army National Guard . As Care Coordinator, the incumbent will perform the following tasks:
Reports to the Deputy State Surgeon (DSS) and serves as the unit point of contact for all medical readiness issues.
Assists commanders in reaching their goal of a full medically ready mobilization roster.
Segregates soldiers who are not medically ready from those who are medically ready and forward documentation to the proper personnel.
Ensures documentation is complete and accurate to support deployable status.
Adheres to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Performs other responsibilities as required that meets the organizational needs of the Office of the State Surgeon.
Other: Preference: Preference will be given to candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Active or former member of the United States military.
Resident of the Virgin Islands.

Qualifications Required:
Experience working with persons in crisis.
1-3 years’ experience providing clinical services in an outpatient setting.
Excellent computer skills and experience utilizing Microsoft Office Professional, to include Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Word;
Strong communication skills orally and in writing and must be capable of working with a diverse population.
Excellent analytical, research and problem solving capabilities; and
Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task projects simultaneously.
