Job Description:
The Site Operations Lead role will report directly to the President of St. Croix Renaissance Group, LLLP, the owner of SCRP. The Site Operations Lead will assist the President in conducting various activities at the site, including: - - Leadership and site operations o Participate and lead operational processes across the site, with wide-ranging responsibility for technical, reporting, regulatory, and other factors o Participate in recruiting new team members if required - - Power infrastructure, generation, interconnection o Site operations include providing power connections between generation entities and authorized users at SCRP o Continually update site potential for affordable renewable energy generation o Establish and maintain relationships with local utility personnel, as needed - - Marine operations o Participate in operations related to SCRP's marine port facilities o Monitor dock safety and structural integrity o Participate in Harbor Master duties - schedules for arrival and departure of vessels o Adhere to and be prepared for US Coast Guard and SCRP's Facility Security Plan, audits and reporting requirements - - Successfully building relationships with government agencies o Participate in formal and informal settings with operational and executive leaders of US Virgin Islands and federal government agencies, including and not limited to the US Coast Guard and Environmental Protection Agency o Develop deep knowledge of the requirements and regulations related to each government agency/entity - - Environmental permitting and monitoring o Interact with third-party consultants and parties responsible for environmental permitting, compliance monitoring, and existing permit renewals and facilitating new permits as needed o Develop comprehensive knowledge of US Virgin Islands and federal environmental regulations that impact SCRP - - Tenant Relations o Participate in maintaining relationships, contractual obligations, and reporting related to SCRP's tenants o Identify, initiate, and implement opportunities to provide additional services to tenants and other clients of SCRP - - Team facilitation o Participate in team work to consistently achieve strategic and operational goals o Identify capability gaps and design programs to mitigate these gaps when possible o Follow existing staff reporting procedures o Interface with assigned accounting personnel - - Safety and security training o Ensure adherence to all applicable safety procedures, training programs and regulations including and not limited to OSHA, HAZWOPER - - Physical requirements o In addition to in-office functions, the Site Operations Lead role requires the ability to conduct a wide range of physical activity, including driving (and occasional off-road driving), lifting up to 50 pounds, opening/closing gates, climbing stairs and ladders, etc. The Site Operations Lead will be required to have timing flexibility to work if necessary on weekends, holidays, and after-hours for special projects or security related tasks. Compensation and Benefits The role has a compensation range of $120,000-150,000, depending on the qualifications, experience, and aptitude of the specific candidate.
